“Love this place! Such a great family pub and the service is excellent. Will definitely be back soon!”
“Nice pub, very family oriented. Ordered a roast pork lunch and a chicken burger with chips, the food was pretty nice, the vegetables cooked just right. Beer on tap tastes good too. Lots of televisions, would be a great place to watch sporting events. Played a free game of pool, there is also a cocktail-table video games arcade machine which is free. Nice outdoor grass-covered area with a fire pit. Playground for the kids as well as a soccer ball and soccer goal which I played with my son. No poker machines; doesn’t have that “suburban casino” feel that many pubs and clubs have. Would go there often if I lived nearby.”

“A local standout for lunch or dinner. We've lunched at the Aberdare Hotel 3 times in recent months, the last time yesterday, and we'll be going back. The lovely old building has been tastefully and well restored and has a lovely atmosphere, but that's not the main attraction. The staff are friendly, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming. The meals are excellent. Delicious, generously sized, well above the quality of most pub meals, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.”
